Effective Length Of Staircase & Support Types for Design

It’s very important to understand that how to design a staircase with Staircase types for design. To design a staircase we have to find out the effective length of the stairs. This excel have been created for ACI 318-08 and BNBC 2020

where,
Le= Effective length
L= Going Horizontal length
x= Mid-Landing length
y= Top and bottom Landing length
bws/bw= Width of beam for strainer Beam as well as top and bottom landing beam
