What is Surveying?

Surveying is the art of determining the relative positions of various objects on the Earth’s surface by measuring the horizontal distance between them, and by preparing a map to any appropriate scale.

 

 

Object of Surveying :-

 

The purpose of surveying is to prepare a map showing the object’s relative positions on the earth’s surface. The map is drawn to some appropriate scale.
